I would really love it, if we were able to process Debit Cards through BBMS. Unfortunately in Canada, our debit cards are not tied to a credit card type.
We would love to be able to use your mobile pay terminals, but if they don't accept debit cards in Canada, then they aren't much use to us. We would have to rent separate machines to process the debit cards.
I think we'd like to have it as an option everywhere we would accept payment. At our events we bring a POS terminal, but for example, we could bring the MobilePay device if Interac was a payment option through BBMS. Not only that, but we'd also like to be able to take Interac on any donation forms (paper) and online donation forms.
Thanks for your request. We don't currently have a timeline for when Canadian debit cards like Interac will be available in BBMS but we are interested in doing so. If you have time, could you respond and let me know how you would expect to offer this to your supporters? Would this be a card present/retail scenario like a gift shop or event sales, for your online donation forms, for your back office gift entry cases, or something else?
