Many organizations use BBMS to collect payments for non-donation transactions such as conference registrations, cookbook sales, event fees, or other purchases. Currently, these transactions often require creating constituent and gift records in the CRM, even when the payor is not a donor. This results in unnecessary data cleanup and additional administrative work.
Create a public-facing standalone BBMS payment form that can be shared via a direct link or QR code and processes credit/debit card payments without creating constituent or gift records in a CRM. Similar to MobilePay Terminal, but that can be easily accesses by the payor online, these forms would be simple and include configurable payment amount buttons, internal-use payment comments, customizable acknowledgment and refund email subject lines, and direct processing within BBMS - never interacting with the CRM.
This enhancement would reduce manual record deletion, improve CRM data quality, and provide a simple payment collection method for non-donor transactions. Organizations could process payments more efficiently while keeping donor databases clean and focused on true fundraising activity.
