Blackbaud Merchant Services

We would like to request an enhancement related to Blackbaud Merchant Services (BBMS) transaction data accessibility.

Currently, we are reviewing the transaction data available in the BBMS Transactions portal:
https://host.nxt.blackbaud.com/payment-portal/transactions

Proposed enhancement

It would be very valuable to have improved and more flexible options to export and integrate BBMS transaction data with external systems, including:

• A dedicated API to retrieve BBMS transaction data

• Ability to schedule automated exports of transaction data

• Support for webhooks or real-time data feeds for transaction events

• Standardized access to key transaction fields such as:

  • Transaction ID

  • Amount

  • Date

  • Payment status

  • Authorization code

  • Constituent information (when applicable)

Additional considerations

• Clarification on any licensing or permission requirements for API access

• Official documentation or recommended approaches for integrating BBMS transaction data with third-party systems

Business need

Our goal is to enable automated syncing of BBMS transactions with external platforms, reducing reliance on manual exports and improving operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
