It would be great if there wer specific error messages a donor receives when they are trying to make a donation so that they know what the issue is. Below would be some common errors that we see donors encounter:
-Invalid CVV Code
-Please check the billing address.
-Please enter a country (or whichever field was not populated.)
-Please enter a value of $5 or greater.
-Please call the number on the back of your credit card.

Thank you for reaching out with this idea. This feedback is very helpful as we look for ways to continue to improve our messaging to donors. Some of our less specific messaging is designed to prevent fraudsters by obscuring what might be incorrect about the credit card info they are entering. When we highlight the incorrect data, it helps them zero in on what they need to "correct" to successfully complete a fraudulent transaction. That said, most of your suggestions don't fall into that category, so we will fold your feedback into our work on enhancing messaging.
