The New Checkout offers all credit card types instead of following our BBMS account configurations. We have chosen not to accept payments by American Express due to the higher fees but currently have no control over that in the New Checkout.

We are exploring this option. Interested to understand if there is a desire to restrict pre-paid cards on recurring gifts as well as card types in the new checkout.
I agree, this is a standard feature on so many forms and should be a simple fix.
