2024, Venmo and Paypal are now integrated, but you can not use them separately. For us, not using Venmo but wanting to integrate Paypal, this look very unprofessional. I would love to be able to integrate one, two or any of the payment options (Apple, google, google etc) separately into the BBSM form (in eTapestry). But be able to make that choice.
Unfortunately our Blackbaud CRM product has not yet adopted our BBMS release of PayPal & Venmo. BBCRM does continue to have the Apple pay and RC (checkout for Visa, MasterCard & AMEX cards) digital wallet integrated solutions.
I wanted to respond to this Idea Portal threat to share our announcements in our recent BBCON sessions and Product Update Briefings. That being we have now integrated PayPal with BBMS for USD accounts and its in General Availability. Also in the coming weeks/month we will launch our PayPal integration to all of our BBMS currencies.
We are in advance integrations with our PayPal partner and expect to launch Venmo via BBMS before the end of the year (2021) for USD currency support.
With your Blackbaud Checkout integration with BBMS, you will now have digital wallet support for Apple Pay, PayPal, SRC (checkout for Visa, MasterCard & AMEX cards) and soon to be Venmo.
Please add PayPal and Venmo as a digital wallet option. Requiring a donor to log into their external PayPal or Venmo account at checkout defeats the whole purpose of having it as a payment option.
For both ON and OLX you need to have VenMo, PayPal, Zelle, etc. More and more donors and other constituents want to pay for events, etc., in these ways. We get a lot of complaints that we can't offer this.
We are ready to up our game promoting mobile pay option for this giving season and agree that more apps are much needed. I would add Samsung pay to the list. I believe Apple Pay is already integrated? I'd love to hear if anything is in the works in this regard.

Many of our constituents would like to see Venmo as a mobile option in addition to ApplePay. Especially our younger ones.
Is this available as an option yet? if not, we would really like to see it.
Our Board is asking about DipJar as a way to encourage on-site donations at our events. is this under consideration? I'd vote yes!
