I would like to suggest that any transaction that is done with the mobile pay device should come into Raiser's Edge through the NetCommunity link. The transactions do not come into RE and I think they should. The transaction just sits out on the BBMS account and unless I know the device was used, I can't account to my business office for it by running a report. Another problem I see is that we should be able to receive an email notification when a transaction happens just like what happens with donations and event registrations that are done through NetCommunity. I feel that the usage of the device is very flawed.
I agree, I feel that the usage is flawed. The system should be able to download into a batch like other credit card transactions. This is a step backwards.
I would agree completely with this for eTapestry as well. We could get this same service through PayPal or Square with more customization options if we wanted to have to hand manipulate the information for importing data. It should be treated just like the online transaction forms.
